As much joy as the holidays and new year brings, they can also bring on much unneeded stress. Stress lives within everyone at one point or another, that’s why it’s so important to find ways to keep yourself grounded and balanced, not letting the stress overcome your mind.  Stress is one thing that lives within your mind and it’s up to you to decide whether you’re going to let it take over or not; This year especially!  As the Holiday’s get closer and the new year approaches don’t forget to slow down and incorporate a little you time into your life.  Our favorite way to ease stress and bring yourself back into your body is with Amethyst. Amethyst is known for its ability to calm the mind, bringing a sense of tranquility helping one stay balanced within themselves.

Amethyst De-stressing Ritual

Set up your sacred place;

For this ritual, we like to keep the de-stressing area as simple and bare as possible to allow your mind to be clear of any clutter.

  • Dim the lights
  • Light some candles bringing in calming scents
  • Sit on a comfortable pillow or blanket
  • Grab your amethyst (we love to use our yoni egg, but any amethyst stone will work) Before you begin decide if you would like to wear your yoni egg internally or crystal externally. If you choose to wear your yoni egg internally you can insert her before you being. If you choose to keep your crystals out externally hold it in the palms of your hands.

Begin by taking some breaths; inhale / exhale do this for a few minutes, keeping the mind free of any thoughts.

Close your eyes placing your hands over your heart allowing your breaths to get slower

Start to visualize the white light circling in your mind, amethyst connects with your crown and third eye making it the perfect complement for mind work.

With each exhale image you’re expelling the stress, ridding it from your mind and body

Continue this until you feel you have breathed all the stress away.

As you come to a close, repeat some intentions / affirmation that feel suiting to you.

(I will not let stress overcome my mind)

(I will stay positive)

(Stress does not define me)
